President of Tajikistan and Minister of Energy of Pakistan discussed the effectiveness of the project CASA-1000

Dushanbe. July 22. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Pakistan discussed the feasibility of projects in the energy sector, according to the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met Federal Minister of Water and Energy of Pakistan Hodja Muhammad Osif. During the meeting they discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector",- says the publication.
The parties also discussed the effectiveness implementation of the project CASA-1000.
Today there is an conformation of the latest chapters of the agreement by this project. Construction of the CASA-1000 must be completed before 2017.
Both countries established a joint commission on cooperation in the energy sector, and intend during the September visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Navoz Sharif in Dushanbe to sign several important agreements.
