President of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry discussed border issues

Almaty. February 11. Silkroadnews - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev discussed the border issues, transmits Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
"At the meeting they discussed issues of multifaceted cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and scientific fields, as well as regional security. But special attention was paid to the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz border in the disputed territories", - says the publication.
Parties talked about the project of bilateral agreement on confidence-building measures at the border between the two countries. They called for continued cooperation in this area and strengthening of cross-border cooperation in resolving disputes.
In addition, was emphasized trusting partnership of both countries addressing water and energy, transport and communication, trade and economic issues for the benefit of the two friendly nations.
