Almaty. April 11. Silkroadnews – Prime-minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariyev has resigned, KyrTAG reports.
“I resign from the position of the prime-minister. I have handed my letter of resignation to the president. I believe such a step will contribute to the situation stabilization,” T. Sariyev said at the government session on Monday.

According to KyrTAG, earlier the deputy committee on the compliance with legality has revealed numerous violations by the ministry of transport and communications, as well as the Prime Minister and the entire government in tenders for the construction of the road Balykchy-Korumdu, Bishkek - the international airport “Manas”.

The deputy committee, thus, recommended to hand all the materials gathered over to the State Committee for National Security to check for the corruption schemes possible and also recommended to the house of parliament to consider the resignation of the prime-minister of the Kyrgyz Republic T. Sariyev through “no-confidence” resolution.

The deputy committee checking the legality of the tender for the construction of the road Balykchy-Korumdu had been created on the initiative of the leader of “Kyrgyzstan” party Kanat Isayev. In the course of the committee’s operation the numerous violations have been identified, including the lack of a license in the contractor-company that won the tender. Besides, the transport minister Argynbek Malabayev said the inner circle of the prime minister and his deputy, Ulan Uezbaev, are interested to have the particular company winning in tender.

Prior to that, the head of the government T. Sariyev submitted to the president Almazbek Atambayev the report to consider the demotion of the minister of transport and communications of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Malabayev from his position based on the resolution by the inter-governmental commission. However, the President declined the report and assigned the anti-corruption department of the State Committee for National Security to study and check the resolution by the inter-governmental commission on the poor performance by the minister of transport and communications.

To remind, T. Sariyev was appointed to the position of prime-minister of Kyrgyzstan due to the presidential decree dated November 5, 2015.
