Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary to visit Tashkent

Beijing. January 31. UzTAG - Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Alice Wells will travel to London and Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from January 30 – February 2, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports with reference to the press service of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan.  
Alice Wells will make a short-term visit to London on January 30 to discuss regional issues at the International Institute of Strategic Studies, as well as meet with UK government officials and international media at the State Department’s London Media Hub.
In Tashkent, A. Wells will meet with senior officials to discuss the progress achieved within the framework of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s reform program, international and regional issues, as well as economic cooperation and cooperation in the field of security.
