Putin assured Netanyahu on security of supply of S-300 to Iran

"The two leaders exchanged views on the decision of the president of Russia to lift the ban on the supply to Iran anti-aircraft missile systems S-300", - said in a statement on the website kremlin.ru
Benjamin Netanyahu expressed concern about lifting the embargo, but Putin thoroughly explained the logic of the Russian leadership in this context, focusing, in particular, on the fact that in their tactical and technical characteristics the S-300 has a purely defensive purpose and will not jeopardize the security of Israel and other Middle East countries.
