Qatar intends to invest into Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial complex

Almaty. February 24. Silkroadnews - Qatar has demonstrated its interest in investing into the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Kazakhstani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reports.
According to the information announced on Wednesday, on February 22, 2016, Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbaev visited Qatar and met with the Minister of Municipality and Environmental Protection of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Rumaihi and leaders of the Qatar Investment Fund and Food Corporation “Hassad Food”.
    The Qatari minister said about Qatar’s readiness to take part in these processes and deep interest in strengthening Qatar’s cooperation with Kazakhstan in the areas of agriculture and environmental protection.
The leaders of the Qatar Investment Fund and Food Corporation “Hassad Food” said the Qatari side has been interested in the development of full-fledged relations with Kazakhstan for a long time, thus, tries to take advantage of all the opportunities to establish the investment cooperation. They also said about the necessity to establish a constant liaison to bring the discussion to the level of practical implementation.
