"Gazprom" intends to buy from Iran equipment for the production of compressed natural gas

Tehran. September 3. Silkroadnews - Russian energy company "Gazprom" is interested in the purchase of equipment from Iran for the production of compressed natural gas (CNG), reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Wednesday.
The executive director of the project for the construction of gas filling stations of the National Iranian oil distribution Mansour Riyahi reported that desire of "Gazprom" to buy from Iranian enterprises Equipment for the production of CNG has been sounded during the negotiations between the representatives of the Russian State Concern and its agencies.
He added that the Iranian manufacturers of such equipment also have the potential to provide engineering services in the area.
M.Riyahi reported that few days was reached an agreement on construction in Iraq five gas stations with the direct participation of Iranian companies.
According to him, Iran have already signed a number of contracts for the construction across the country about 1 thousand gas filling stations, which will, along with other measures to increase the consumption of CNG in Iran to 30 million cubic meters per day.
