Residents of Zhaz-Kechuu village in Kyrgyzstan don’t have electricity for over 20 years

Bishkek. May 21. Silkroadnews Residents of Zhaz-Kechuu village in Kyrgyzstan live without electricity for over 20 years, as KyrTAG informs.
“Residents of that village have come to the Minister of Emergency Situations to ask for help. It has become apparent that the village has neither electricity nor the ror the road that would connect it to the regional administrative centre. Residents only travel on a horseback. Things get especially complicated in Winter Season. The village residents are appauled by the fact that no Minister, no MP has taken the village and its condition under his or her control”, the Ministry informs.
The village has 800 residents. It also has Tentek-Say river cutting through it, which creates a constant threat of mudslides once heavy rains start. The resiidents are asking for a dam and a bridge to be constructed. The local school is also in dreadful condition.
