Russia and China have signed a memorandum on border cooperation

Almaty. September 4. Silkroadnews - Russia and China signed a memorandum of understanding on inter-regional and cross-border cooperation, reported the newspaper "Rg.ru".
"Memorandum - a basic document setting forth the intention of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and GRDC for further implementation of the program of cooperation between the regions of Eastern Siberia and the Russian Far East and Northeast of the People's Republic of China (2009-2018), Extension of coverage, and the Russian-Chinese interregional cooperation, deepen and increase the intensity of cooperation",- says the publication.
The cooperation program was approved in September 2009. It provides bilateral cooperation in matters of arrangement of checkpoints, the construction of cross-border infrastructure, cooperation in the fields of transport, employment, tourism, environmental protection, humanitarian sphere, the development of areas of scientific and technological cooperation. The program also contains a list of investment projects from the Russian and Chinese sides.
