Russia has completed the removal of enriched uranium from Iran

Almaty. December 28. Silkroadnews - Russia has completed the removal of enriched uranium from Iran in the framework of an agreement between the "six" (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) and Tehran over Iran's nuclear program, the agency TASS.
"This procedure is completed," - confirmed the agency.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the export is planned for later this year. According to him, it is about "more than 8.5 tons" of low-enriched uranium material. In exchange, Tehran should receive natural uranium. According to Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Russia is to supply about 140 tons of uranium ore. Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi also states that "Iran will receive 137 tons of so-called yellow cake (uranium concentrate, the feedstock for enrichment)."
And in Russia, according to him, will be removed 9 tons of enriched uranium. The Action Plan suggests that an agreement to move to the "implementation phase" of Iran, in particular, must reduce the stocks of enriched uranium to 3.67% to a level of 300 kg.
