So, Rospotrebnadzor reported that the sanitary service since January 1, 2016 (the effective date of the ban on imports of Turkish fruits and vegetables, fresh cloves, chicken and turkey and by-products thereof, and salt) will strengthen control in border areas and in the Russian retail shipments of banned products from Turkey as well as the possible smuggling of these products under the label of other states.
In addition, as noted in Rospotrebnadzor, will be working "hot line" for receiving messages from people on the facts of the sale of goods under the sanctions from Turkey.
The FCS also reported on the work of the mobile teams of post-customs control at the border areas with Belarus and Kazakhstan.
However, neither the Rosselhznadzore nor the FCS does not consider supplies from Azerbaijan as potentially possible way for Turkish re-export. Both departments are waiting for entry into force of the embargo against Turkey to monitor the redistribution of imports.
