Russia leads in terms of oil supplies to China, having increased the volume by 41.8%

Almaty. June 30. Silkroadnews – In January-May Russia step forward ranking the first in terms of oil supplies to China, having increased the supply’s volume by 41.8% – up to 22.169 million tonnes, TASS reports.

According to China’s customs authorities, Saudi Arabia is ranked second, increasing oil supplies to China by 3.9% to 21.885 million tonnes over the same period. Angola comes in third place, showing 15.9% growth with 18.51 million tonnes of oil exported.

Iraq and Oman also reported an increase in oil exports to China for the five-month period from January to May this year, by 18.4% to 14.578 million tonnes and by 20.3% to 14.137 million tonnes respectively, while Iran saw a reduction of 0.7% in its sales to 11.767 million tonnes.

Brazil’s oil export to China totaled 7.089 million tonnes, with Kuwait exporting 6.404 million tonnes, Venezuela – 7.829 million tonnes, and the UAE – 5.223 million tonnes.

In terms of oil product supplies to China, the top position is held by South Korea, which increased its export by 20.6% to 3.9 million tonnes. Singapore is ranked second in this category, with 1.939 million tonnes (a reduction of 1.6%), and Russia comes the third, with 1.251 million tonnes (a reduction of 34.5%).
