Russia to forward over USD 7 mln to Kyrgyzstan for anti-drug activities

Bishkek. May 29. Silkroadnews – Federal Drug Control Service of Russia to forward USD 7 218 000 in material and technical aid to Kyrgyzstan’s Drug Control Agency. This was reported by Kyrgyz Deputy PM Abdyrahman Mamataliyev after he met with the head of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia, Victor Ivanov.
As Minister Ivanov noted, this is already a second wave of financial, material and technical aid.
“Federal Drug Control Service of Russia implements this project, as it wants to re-equip Kyrgyzstan’s Drug Control agency. This includes special machinery. We are satisfied by the results of the first wave, as it has increased efficiency of drug-control bodies”, Mister Ivanov concluded.
