Almaty. June 3. Silkroadnews - Work on the construction of the second and third units of the Iranian nuclear power plant "Bushehr" will begin this autumn, reports IrTAG.
It is noted that the equipment installed at the plant will meet all common standards of safety and quality in the field of nuclear energy.
As reported in November last year, Iran and Russia signed a contract for the construction of the second stage of the NPP "Bushehr", providing for the construction of two nuclear units with the possibility of future expansion to four. Also, according to the agreement, the parties intend to build another four reactors at other sites in Iran, which remains to be determined.
