Russia will deliver to Afghanistan batch of small arms and ammunition at the beginning of 2016

Almaty. December 30. Silkroadnews - In January Russia will deliver to Afghanistan a party of firearms for law enforcement officials, reports Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
As the special representative of the President of Russia on Afghanistan, the second director of the Asian Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zamir Kabulov, arms supplies from Russia are an important aspect of promoting normalization of the situation in Afghanistan.
"At present, the Russian authorities are considering a number of relevant applications Afghan side. In particular,  almost completed study of the question of delivery to Kabul of 10,000 (automatic) AK-47 and ammunition to them under the Russian Interior Ministry, which is expected to be implemented in January 2016. Currently, negotiations are underway in the commercial supply of Russian helicopters to Afghanistan "- said the Special Representative.
According to him, "Russia consistently pursued a policy of providing comprehensive assistance to Afghanistan in the establishment of a peaceful, independent, stable and economically independent state, free from terrorism and narcotics."
