Russian and Tajik Ministers of Defence to discuss military cooperation

Dushanbe. April 1. Silkroadnews - Russian and Tajik Ministers of Defence are to discuss issues of military cooperation, as the Tajik MoD’s Press Office reports.
“As the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization)  Ministers of Defence gathered to meet, Tajik Minister of Defence Sherali Mirzo is to meet his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu, who arrived to Dushanbe on Monday evening. The parties will discuss development of military cooperation between two countries”, as the Tajik MoD’s spokesperson Faridun Mahmadaliyev informed.
Among the military issues on the agenda are implementation of previously signed documents on military and technical cooperation, training of Tajik military staff at Russian military schools and academies, information exchange, SCO anti-terrorism exercises.
