Russian oil and gas companies in Iran can operate without an intergovernmental agreement

Almaty. October 2. Silkroadnews - Resumption of the Russian oil and gas companies on the market of Iran does not require the conclusion of an intergovernmental agreement, reported Trend with reference to Russian Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky.
Among the Russian companies interest in the work on the Iranian market have expressed "Lukoil" and "Gazprom oil". In particular, in late August, Lukoil Vice President Leonid Fedun said the company is still interested in the Iranian Anaran project, as well as offshore projects of the Persian Gulf, but let's see what will happen with the lifting of sanctions against the country. Earlier media reported that "Lukoil" has expressed readiness to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Iran.
