Russian will be able to import foreign products by re-export through Kazakhstan, according to entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan

Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - Russian entrepreneurs will be able to replace fallen under the ban on the import of foreign products to the Russian Federation through the implementation of re-export from Kazakhstan, the director of the Department of Customs Administration of the national Chamber of Entrepreneurs Alikhan Mambetalin.
According to him, a similar scheme is used for the import of goods from China.
A. Mambetalin said that Russian entrepreneurs themselves are also interested in the existence of such a "loophole."
"Formally, Russia has no legal right to impose any trade barriers - we have free custom at the Kazakh-Russian border. But in fact some measures will be taken"- he said.
He recalled that at the present time the goods past customs in Kazakhstan, can move freely on the territory of the Customs Union, and therefore found it difficult to tell how the Russian Customs will be able to execute the decision of the Russian government to ban the importation of food and other products from the EU, the United States and other countries through Kazakhstan to Russia.
