Saudi prince killed in helicopter crash
Almaty. November 6. KazTAG – A Saudi prince Mansour bin Muqrin has been killed when the helicopter he was travelling in crashed, the BBC Russian Service reported.
“Prince Mansour bin Muqrin, the deputy governor of Asir province, was travelling with several officials when the helicopter crashed,” the agency reported with reference to Saudi Arabia’s state media.
The crash occurred in the airspace near the border with Yemen. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
Saudi Arabia said it intercepted a ballistic missile, fired from Yemen, near Riyadh airport the day before, agency wrote.
To remind, Saudi Arabia leads a coalition fighting against Husit insurgents in Yemen.
