Almaty. March 16. Silkroadnews - Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal considers unacceptable conclusion of a final agreement on the Iranian nuclear program because of a possible nuclear arms race in the Middle East, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Monday.
"The former head of Saudi intelligence, said that he categorically opposes any deal between Tehran and the "six" of international mediators (the five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany), because if it takes place, all the other countries, including Saudi Arabia, will seek for themselves the same rights in the development of nuclear technology",- says the publication.
According to him, "whatever the outcome of these negotiations will be, we will be willing exactly the same".
"Thus, if Iran will be able to enrich uranium to a certain level, the same opportunity will require not only Saudi Arabia, but also other", - said Turki al-Faisal.
