SCO and Interpol will expand cooperation in the fight against terrorism

Almaty. June 23. Silkroadnews - Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS) will expand its cooperation with Interpol in the fight against terrorist organizations, reports Trend.
During the meeting of the Interpol Working Group on combating foreign fighter-terrorists in Barcelona, director of the RATS Executive Committee Sinfen Zhang held talks with Special Representative of the Secretary General of Interpol, the head of the Department for Combating Terrorism, Public and Marine Safety Pierre Saint-Hilaire and the project manager of Counter terrorism Center of Interpol for Asia-Pacific region Simon Fernand.
The parties discussed the activities of international terrorist organizations in the Middle East and Central Asia, reached a broad consensus on the sharing of information and development of practical and effective cooperation to combat terrorist.
