Shortage of electricity in Kyrgyzstan is caused by excess winter consumption over the summer by 3.5 times

Almaty. February 17. Silkroadnews - Winter energy consumption in Kyrgyzstan is 3.5 times higher than the summer, leading to the deficit, reports KyrTAG with reference to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry Batyrkul Baetov.
He said that by means of President Almazbek Atambayev, was agreed the import of electricity from Kazakhstan.
Recall, Kyrgyzstan has established limits for energy consumption up to 700 kWh, with the price of 0.7 som per kWh. In case of overlimit the tarriffs are accounted at 2.05 som per kWh.
