Almaty. June 22. Silkroadnews - The volume of deliveries of Central Asian gas to China, conducted on a gas pipeline "Central Asia-China" since the beginning of 2015 reached 9.43 million tonnes, and amounted to 13.1 billion dollars, reported the Xinhua news agency.
According to customs data, 9 million tons of gas, or about 96% of total shipments accounted for Turkmenistan, the remaining approximately 4% were delivered from the fields of Uzbekistan.
Deliveries of Central Asian gas to China through the pipeline, originating at the border between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, to the central part of China through Uzbekistan and southern Kazakhstan, started in late 2009.
