Almaty. December 29. Silkroadnews - Since the beginning of this year, Central Bank of Uzbekistan has reduced the rate of national currency against the US dollar by 15.9%, reported the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
Since the beginning of the year the national currency against the US dollar was reduced from 2424.23 to 2809.98 soums per $1.
Starting from December 29, the course was set at 2809.98 soums per $1, up by 15 soums more than a week (from December 22 - 2794.98 soums) earlier.
Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets the rates of the national currency every Tuesday.
