South Korea will hold consultations on civil servants training in Uzbekistan

Almaty. December 28. Silkroadnews – Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) plans to implement a new project in Uzbekistan aimed to innovate the country’s state sector, Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.

“The project provides for consultations on personnel management policies and civil servant training system, strengthening the educational potential of the Academy of Public Administration (APU) under the President of Uzbekistan, as well as the training of students, the APU faculty and staff members”, press service of the Korean agency informs.

The total cost of the project to be realized in 2017-2019 will amount to $3 million.

In the near future the KOICA and APU are going to develop a master plan for a system of training for government officials in Uzbekistan, as well as hold a Korean-Uzbek public conference “Human resources development” to boost innovations within the state sector.

The KOICA and APU will also use the business re-engineering processes and develop new training programs, new methods of teaching, training workshops for faculty and staff, as well as raise the web-learning environment level. In addition, the KOICA will hold specialized training courses for students, faculty and staff of the Academy.
