South Kyrgyzstan took measures to prevent religious extremism

Almaty. May 4. Silkroadnews - Operative chiefs of the Interior Ministry of Kyrgyzstan carry out preventive measures to prevent religious extremism using all kinds of methods, reported KyrTAG citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
So, on the eve of staff of the 10th department of the IM headed by Deputy Head of the central board R.Salimov organized in Osh meeting with theologians, representatives of several institutions of higher education of the Republic of Turkey and the local clergy. The event was attended by well-known scientists in the field of theology, professor of Ankara University Bunyamin Erol, Enbiya Yildirim and Gaziantep University Mahmut Chynar.
During the meeting were discussed in detail the problems of religious radicalism and extremism, the prevention of extremism. The guests shared their experience in the organization of interaction with law enforcement bodies of the clergy, in particular, anti-extremist and anti-terrorist unit of the police.
The Ministry noted that outreach activities have been conducted in Karasu Osh region, in the mosque "Al-Sarakhs" in Aravan district, where they met with the residents of these areas and imams of mosques.
During the meeting, the parties have had many questions, was held heated discussions. Professor explained and clearly responded to everything from the standpoint of theology, including the participation of citizens in the Syrian conflict, and in the Afghan-Pakistan area, which have nothing to do with Islam.
