Special security services of Kyrgyzstan suppressed recruits’ illegal delivery to Syria

Almaty. June 21. Silkroadnews – Special security services of Kyrgyzstan detained the wanted criminals dealing with the recruits’ delivery to Syria, KyrTAG reported with reference to Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security (SCNS) on Tuesday.

“In the course of operational activities on detection and suppression of channels of illegal delivery of recruits for international terrorist organizations (ITO) in the war zone in Syria, two people, born in 1992 and 1966, has been identified and arrested in Bishkek,” the agency said.

It has been established that the persons mentioned, officially wanted in one of the neighboring countries, illegally crossed the state border of Kyrgyzstan in February 2016.

The SCNS investigative agencies have opened a criminal case according to Article 346 (illegal state border crossing) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan with the preventive measure in the form of detention.
The investigation is ongoing.
