State enterprises’ income level declines year by year, the relevant agency’s official state
Almaty. May 12. Silkroadnews – State-owned enterprises’ income level declines year by year, the head of the Fund for management of the state-owned property under the government of the Kyrgyz Republic Bolsunbek Kazakov said, KyrTAG reports.
“The level of revenues of the state-owned enterprises decreases year by year”, B. Kazakov said at the meeting of the SDPK parliamentary faction on Friday.
According to him, for example, revenues from the state-owned enterprises amounted to 901 million som in 2016 compared to 2.200 billion som in 2012.
As B. Kazakov noted, the second stage of the public administration reform carried out for the last two years suggests building an open joint-stock company “National Holding”.
“There are our representatives as well among the board of directors of the joint-stock companies with state shares, yet, unfortunately, their work is not sufficiently effective. They are dependent on the companies, as their salaries are paid by these enterprises”, he said.
According to data the fund’s head shared, at the moment there are 1130 state enterprises registered, among them 166 enterprises are operating, 5-6 enterprises yield profit. There are 68 joint-stock companies registered in the Fund for management of the state-owned property, including 38 enterprises operating, while the rest of them are close to liquidation and bankruptcy. The major part of state enterprises is within the structure of the relevant ministries, thus, these ministries appoint the heads of these joint-stock companies, he added.
