Tajik airline has opened air traffic to Kabul

Almaty. May 3. Silkroadnews – Tajik airline “Somon Air” has opened an air traffic to Kabul, TajikTA reports.
“”Somon Air” airline aircraft Boeing 737-800 performed the first flight on the new route Dushanbe-Kabul,” the statement said.

In particular, 40 passengers departed from Dushanbe to Kabul, and 55 passenger arrived at Dushanbe from Kabul.
The airline will operate flight to Afghanistan’s capital and back once a week on Fridays. At present an option to raise the frequency of flights on the route up to 2 flights per week is being considered by the parties involved.

Within the nearest time the airline also plans to open flights from Dushanbe to Lahore. The first flight on the new route is scheduled for May 6. Further plans assume beginning of air traffic to Tehran this season.
