Tajik airline start performing flights from Dushanbe to Antalya
Beijing. Jul 2. Silkroadnews - Yesterday 180 people were the first passengers of the Dushanbe-Antalya direct flight performed by Somon Air airline, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Monday.
According to the air carrier, the flight is carried out as a part of the airline’s route network extension program.
Flights on the route will be performed by Boeing 737-800 and -900 aircraft once every ten days. The flight time from Dushanbe to Antalya is 5 hours, the press service of the airline reported.
Starting this May Somon Air has also increased the frequency of flights on Dushanbe-Istanbul route up to three flights a week.
To date, the airline, that joined the IATA in autumn, successfully conducts flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, Russia and Kazakhstan. The airline fleet includes Boeing 737-300, -800 and -900 aircraft.
