Tajik-Chinese joint venture "Zarafshon" will create in the country 2 gold Artel
Almaty. September 2. Silkroadnews - Tajik-Chinese joint venture (JV) "Zarafshon" intends to create in the country two gold-mining cooperative, reports the Tajik news agency on Wednesday.
This was stated at the meeting of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the head of the Chinese company ZiJin Mining - Cheng Chinhae.
It was noted that this year, the joint venture "Zarafshon", through the use of new technologies, established production of a new type of product - copper dust.
It is also planned to complete the feasibility study of the deposit Djilali and put into operation a new gold mining plant with production capacity to 10 thousand tons per day.
This year, the joint venture "Zarafshon" plans to produce 2.8 thousand kg of gold and 220 kilograms of silver. Recall, this joint venture was created in August 2007. The Chinese company ZiJin Mining from 2007 to January 2015 year invested in the development of the joint venture "Zarafshon" more than $277 million.
Previously was reported that in 2014-2015 it is planned to increase gold production to 4-5 tons.
JV "Zarafshon" is the largest in Tajikistan, by the volume of gold production, plant. It was established on the basis of the former Tajik gold mining.
