Tajik President instructed to accelerate the process of delimitation and demarcation of the border with Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. June 9. Silkroadnews - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with the Prime Minister of the KR Temir Sariev, who arrived in Dushanbe on an official visit, reports KyrTAG.
During the meeting the sides noted the positive trend of deepening and strengthening of Kyrgyz-Tajik bilateral cooperation.
The President of Tajikistan said that he would instruct the relevant authorities to accelerate the process of delimitation and demarcation of the border with Kyrgyzstan.
The parties also noted the importance of the project CASA -1000, which opens the market of Afghanistan and Pakistan to export electricity.
During the meeting were discussed issues of supply of electricity from Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan on mutually beneficial conditions, construction of the railway "China-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan", gas pipeline "Turkmenistan-China" as well as cooperation in the field of regional security.
