Tajikistan and France intend to strengthen cooperation in the field of hydropower and agribusiness

Almaty. October, 30. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and France intend to strengthen cooperation in the field of hydropower, agricultural industry and investment, informs the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"These discussions took place at the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Umeda Davlatzoda with representatives of the French Embassy in Moscow, Boris Kiselevsky and Luis Tulorzh", - says the publication with reference to the Ministry of Economic Development of RT.
According to information, the parties discussed the prospects of economic cooperation between the two countries, including in the areas of hydropower, the creation of joint enterprises for processing agricultural products, as well as attracting investment in the banking sector.
During the first 9 months of 2014 the trade turnover between Tajikistan and France increased by 7.7% compared with the same period of 2013, totaling to more than $13.6 million.
