Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan delimited 520 km of disputed border

Almaty. January 18. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan delimited 520 km of the disputed border, another 396 km left shall be agreed on later, the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) reports.
“A total of 519.9 km of the border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is agreed, remaining 396 km are to be delimited”, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aaly Karashev said.
He noted that in 2015 the intergovernmental commission considered the issue of controversial 970 km at the border with Tajikistan. Every point of agreement was reviewed during the recent meeting in accordance with the national interests.
