Tajikistan and Malaysia discussed cooperation in tourism and education

Dushanbe. September 10. Silkroadnews - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Dato 'Sri Haji Anif Amon, who is on an official visit to Tajikistan, transmis Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
"During the meeting, the foreign ministers discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, the strengthening of trade and economic relations, the legal framework, as well as cooperation in the field of tourism, education, energy, human development and culture", - said the agency with reference to the Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan on Wednesday.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of bilateral agreements and the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Tajikistan to Malaysia in June this year.
Emphasized the need for the speedy establishment of the intergovernmental commission on cooperation, intensify its activities, establishing inter-parliamentary and inter-sectoral linkages. The sides noted the importance of developing cooperation in the tourism industry and in other promising areas.
