Tajikistan and Russia adopted a program of modernization of the armed forces of the RT

Almaty. July 31. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Russia have approved a joint modernization of the armed forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
The sides expressed confidence in the near future to meet final decision on ratification of duty-free export of oil products from Russia to Tajikistan.
Both sides agreed at the end of this year to discuss this and other challenges, and to hold regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
They have mentioned the issue of constructive conversation to protect the rights of migrant workers of Tajikistan in Russia, and to expand cooperation in the fields of education, culture, science and technology.
It should be noted that special attention was paid to the issues of cooperation in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), in particular, the provision of technical assistance to the Tajik border troops and strengthen the protection of the state border with Afghanistan.
