Tajikistan and the Altai region agreed on cooperation

Almaty. October 31. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and the Altai region agreed to cooperate, informs the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Friday.
"On October 31, at the Chamber of Commerce of Tajikistan with the aim of establishing and further development of economic relations between the Russian and Tajik business community was held a meeting with local entrepreneurs with the trade and economic mission of the Altai region", - says the publication.
According to the report, the Russian delegation washeaded by President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Altai Territory Boris Chesnokov. On the Tajik side the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, Customs Committee under the Government and others.
To date, the main exports from the region to Tajikistan consists of timber, the products of the milling industry, railway cars, agricultural machinery and spare parts. Tajikistan supplies Altai market with cotton fiber, fruits and vegetables (tomatoes, onions, beans, fruits).
Following the meeting,were reached preliminary agreement on partnership.
