Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates have signed six documents on cooperation between the countries

Almaty. March 17. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and the UAE agreed on cooperation, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Thursday.
“Today in Dubai after the high-level negotiations between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates six new cooperation documents have been signed,” - the publication says.
In particular, the parties signed a joint statement on the development of cooperation between the two countries and agreement on security cooperation and combating terrorism, as well as agreement on the transfer of sentenced persons.
The visit also saw the following memorandums signed between two sides: Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations between the foreign ministries of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates; MoU between the National Council of Tourism and Antiquities of the United Arab Emirates and the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs of Tajikistan; MoU between the two governments on cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
As TajikTA previously reported, President Emomali Rahmon made an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
