Tajikistan and UK to increase cooperation in countering of drug-trafficking

Dushanbe. May 20. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan and UK are to increase cooperation in countering of drug-trafficking, as TajikTA reports.
“Head of Tajikistan’s Drug Control Agency Rustam Nazarov and Deputy Ambassador of the UK in Tajikistan Richard Wood have considered the prospects for countering of drug trafficking and reported on that yesterday”, Tajik President’s Centre for public relations informs.
Mister Nazarov mentioned occurring trend towards the drop in volumes of confiscated heroin and increase in volumes of confiscated hashish.
In his turn, the Deputy Ambassador expressed his hope to contribute to the process of countering of drug-trafficking on the territory of Tajikistan in 2013-2020.
