Tajikistan and Uzbekistan signed 20 contracts to the amount of $35 million
Almaty. April 21. Silkroadnews – Business forum held in the Tajik capital on April 19, 2017, resulted in 20 contracts signed between the Uzbek and Tajik businessmen to the amount of $35 million, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported.
Thus, the Uzbek producer of chemical products “Uzkimyosanoat” entered into five contracts amounting to $28.4 million for the mineral fertilizers delivery to Tajikistan.
“Uzavtosanoat” signed a $1.8-million delivery contract with Tajik companies “Lesinvest” and “Taj Motors”.
The auto manufacturer and its controlled enterprises have also signed another four documents on auto parts delivery with various Tajik companies. The costs of the contracts are being clarified.
Four contracts for a total of $500 thousand were concluded for the construction materials delivery to Tajikistan.
Besides, a protocol of intentions has been signed on the sale of Uzbek food products at the Tajikistan’s market. The contract signed by “Uzbekozikovkatholding” and the Tajik “Iktidor” to the amount of $2 million assumes cooperation throughout 2017-2018.
“Uzeltexsanoat” and the Tajik “Nematbakhsh” signed a $2.5 million worth memorandum to supply electrical goods to Tajikistan in 2017.
