Tajikistan gold reserves in 2014 totaled more than $481 million

Almaty. January 20. Silkroadnews - At the end of 2014 the total volume of gold and currency reserves of the National Bank of Tajikistan has amounted to more than 2 billion 550 million Somoni (more than $481 million), reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday, referring to the chairman of NBT Abdujabbor Shirinov.
According to him, the volume of gold reserves is 11 tonnes, and for intervention currency in the domestic market of the country was spent $137 million.
He also noted that in 2014, was purchased 1.5 tons of gold.
