Tajikistan has increased imports of Kazakh rice by 1.9 times in January-November

Silkroadnews - rice exports from Kazakhstan to Tajikistan in January-November amounted to 15.5 thousand tons worth $7.6 million, which is 1.9 times larger in volume and 2 times in value over the same period in 2013, reported the committee of customs control of the Ministry of Finance.
As noted in the published data, excluding the countries of the Customs Union, flour exports from Kazakhstan in January-November amounted to 27.8 thousand tons worth $13.7 million, which is 4.1% less in volume and 1.9% - in value over the same period last year.
Kazakhstan's largest buyers of rice in January-November were: Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan.
