Almaty. May 6. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan has ratified an agreement with the World Trade Organization (WTO) on trade facilitation, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
This agreement provides simplification of procedure of registration of documents for the transportation of export and import goods, reducing transportation costs and time of delivery.
Thus, the cost of exporting and importing of goods will be reduced by 13-15%. Also, it will lead to lower prices for imported goods in the member countries of the WTO.
In particular, the creation of a "single window" helps to eliminate differing data on trade with the country's trading partners.
Trade facilitation involves the electronic version of the data, which will reduce delays in obtaining documents and reduce the time for consideration of the disputed documents from 71 days to 7 days.
