Almaty. April 24. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan has started the construction of an oil refinery worth more than $560 million, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"On the territory of FEZ "Dangara" Tajikistan, started the construction of an oil refinery worth 3.5 billion TJS ($564.5 million)", - reported the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
The capacity is not yet specified, however, as noted the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon during his visit to the FEZ, the introduction of additional refining capacity will positively affect the maintenance of the fuel in the country.
In addition, started the construction of the plant for production of steel worth more than 125 million Somoni (more than $19 million) and salt processing plant costing 12.5 million Somoni (about $2 million). So, the cost of three Industrial facilities amounts to over $570 million.
FEZ "Dangara" was established in 2009 on an area of ​​521 hectares in the rural Jamoat Lohur.
Geographical location of area is convenient for expansion of industrial production, as it is located near the international road and rail links.
