Tajikistan has the lowest average wage in CIS

Dushanbe. April 30. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan has the lowest average wage in CIS as of February 2014. It is set at USD 175 a month, as CIS Intergovernmental Statistics Committee reports.
“The nominal average monthly salary in Tajikistan has increased by 4 times within the 4-year period.From 215 somoni a month (USD 43) in February 2008 to 820 somoni (USD 164) in February 2014”, the message states.
Russia has the highest average monthly salary for the same period. It is set at USD 820. It is followed by Kazakhstan with USD 575, Azerbaijan with USD 545, Belarus (USD 540)< Armenia (USD 380), Ukraine (USD 355), Moldova (USD 275) and Kyrgyzstan (USD 200).
There is no data for Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan
