Tajikistan in 2016 will provide about $300 million for the construction of the Rogun HPP

Almaty. November 18. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan from the state budget of 2016 will provide about $300 million to complete the construction of the Rogun hydropower plant, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
It is expected to issue a decision on the damming of the Vakhsh River for the construction of the future HPP already before the end of this year.
Recall from the beginning of restoration work (2007) on the Rogun HPP spent 6 billion 435 million somoni (about $1 billion).
The funds are allocated from budget and proceeds through the implementation of actions and certificates of shares of "Rogun HPP" joint venture.
