Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will create offices for border cooperation

Almaty. March 17. Silkroadnews - In Dushanbe discussed the issues of cross-border cooperation with the Central Asian republics in the fight against organized crime and drug trafficking, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday.
"Representatives of law enforcement agencies have considered combating traffic opiates from Afghanistan through the northern route by strengthening the capacity of key checkpoints and the creation of offices border interaction (OBI) in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan", - said the public relations center of anti-drug agencies of RT.
Also, participants discussed cooperation with offices of border cooperation in Afghanistan in the fight against organized crime, as well as the role of OBI in interagency of cross-border cooperation.
Finally, was approved the monitoring and evaluating of the implementation of the UN to combat drugs and crime.
On March 17  participants are planning to go to the opening of an office for border cooperation "Lower Panj".
