Tajikistan plans fully to repay the debt to Uzbekistan by the end of the year

Almaty. August 3. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan plans to fully repay the debt to Uzbekistan until the end of the year, reports the Tajik news agency on Monday.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the total external debt of Tajikistan at the beginning of July 2015 was $2.1 billion. This figure is 19.5% of GDP, which corresponds to the strategy of debt management.
Compared with the beginning of the year the volume of foreign debt decreased by $34.6 million.
The main creditors of Tajikistan are China - $942 million, the World Bank- $312 million, and the Asian Development Bank - $262 million.
