Tajikistan plans to extend the funding of the agricultural sector
Almaty. April 10. Silkroadnews - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Negmatullo Hikmatullozoda met with the head of the program "Framework conditions and financing for private sector development in Tajikistan" Hagen Ettner, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Friday.
"The sides discussed the extension of the activities of this program and the reforms of the agricultural sector of the country", - said in a statement.
The term of the program was completed at the end of March this year.
This program is funded jointly by the governments of Great Britain and Germany. It is being implemented by the German Society for Technical Cooperation (GIZ) in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as with other national and international partners.
The program helps to improve the framework conditions for sustainable growth of the Tajik economy in the interests of the poor, particularly in rural areas.
