Tajikistan plans to produce defense products

Almaty. April 10. Silkroadnews - In Dushanbe, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Shaukat Bobozoda met with Chairman of the working council at the Interstate Commission Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Alexander Nozdrachev, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Friday.
"The meeting discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the sphere of defense products", - says the publication.
In particular, the parties discussed the possibility of the production of fabrics, uniforms for defense departments on the basis of "Khujand Invest Cotton" and the establishment of a joint cooperation between the Russian and Tajik shoe company "Farida" and "Poyafzoli charmy".
In addition, the parties discussed the establishment of joint ventures for the production of cotton duvets, discussed the issues of establishing  the future production of cellulose-based enterprise  "Nuri Khovar".
